<\/strong>Ocean salmon fishing charters are normally very good.\u00a0Early morning depatures and typically a mid day finish.\u00a0 2 salmon limit, only 1 can be a Chinook.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buoy 10 (Columbia River) King Salmon Fishing<\/a>\u00a0(2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

August 1 – September 2
<\/strong>Typically, a million Chinook pass right in front of Astoria on their annual migration up the Columbia river.\u00a0 Anglers best chance all year of catching king salmon.\u00a0 Book early because this fishery is very popular.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fall Coho Salmon in the Columbia River<\/a> (2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Coho salmon fishing opens with Buoy 10 Chinook season on August 1, but this fish normally begin showing up in the river in late August and continue through early\/mid October.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dungeness Crab Fishing<\/a> (2026) <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

September, October, November and December
<\/strong>12 delicious Dungeness crab per person.\u00a0 You will not find better crab anywhere in the world.\u00a0 Sweet, delicate and incredibly delicious.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottom Fishing (Rockfish) <\/a>(2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

January 1 through December 31
<\/strong>We nearly always limit when conditions allow us to fish the ocean!\u00a0 Seabass are most common, also Ling Cod, Kelp Greenling and Cabezon (Cabezon can only be retained July 1 through December 31}.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catch & Release Sturgeon Fishing<\/a>\u00a0(2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Always open, starting mid\/late May for best results, through late July.\u00a0 The closer you are to July 4th, the better fishing, it seems.\u00a0 Sturgeon fishing in the lower Columbia river is nearly unbelievable.\u00a0 People get off the boat saying its the best day they have ever had fishing.\u00a0 Biggest fish, most fish. Its incredibly fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Chinook Salmon Fishing<\/a> (2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

March 1 through April 8
<\/strong>I want to explain what\u00a0 to expect.\u00a0 This is a very challenging fishery.\u00a0 It is typically NOT fast action salmon fishing.\u00a0 If fishing was lottery, Springers would be powerball.\u00a0 Big prize, hard to win.\u00a0 The good news is that they are worth the effort.\u00a0 Best eating salmon in the world!\u00a0 Columbia River salmon fishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeper Sturgeon Fishing<\/a> (2026)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
